closest public rifle ranges/areas to denver

hello -

what are the closest areas to shoot near denver ? i'm looking at shooting 7.62 - .223 and 12 guage.

Organized shooting, or public land?

Green Mountain Family Shooting Center at Jewell and Wadsworth has a 100yd indoor rifle range.

Cheery Creek has an outdoor range, i haven't been to this one.

Otherwise you're best bet is public land outside of the Metro area.
