Let the count down begin!

Archery starts in a could weeks, dove season opens, grouse season opens.

Nephews and are head out for some dove and then headed out that third week for deer and elk hunting. I am getting so dammed excited! I live fall, hurry up summer end.

I thought we were all boycotting hunting?

But thats the only thing left in this state that I enjoy still.

I have zero access to other states and permission to hunt on them for me would be kinda late in the game for me.

I was just joking. I figured it would increase my odds of drawing this year. I got what I wanted so maybe there was some who did boycott. Hopefully they boycott again next year!

Leaving in less than a week, starting the packing up tomorrow.

I'm getting excited...still need to get the smoke pole out and get some lead down range. I'm slacking

The bow is tuned, the broadheads are sharp, the gear packed and next weekend can't get here fast enough.

Totally jealous here. My fall vacation is going back to see family in MI. I'm happy to do so as I don't get back there often enough, but it makes me use time off and money I'd use for hunts. My wife is on call from June-Sep for wildfire duty and it's been 7 years since she has seen my family so it's time for her to get back there too.

Do it. Spent the last 2 weeks with my dad in the ICU and heading back in another week. Hunting can wait but being with family sometimes cant.
