Any good faIshion blogs?

Anyone know of any good fashion blogs or websites? I'm trying to pair a light colored suit jacket with black pants and a light blue shirt for an interview (two actually) on Wednesday. I'm looking for ideas on ties. Tie will of course need to be a dark, solid color, as the suit jacket has a bit of a pattern to it. I've never owned a pair of navy pants in my life, but this new khaki suit would go well with some.

The button on the pants of my only other suit popped off right before my last interview. I also forgot my black fancy shoes that day and wore my Bates boots to the interview. It actually was fine since they knew I had just driven 95 miles in a blizzard to get there. Now that I think of it, those boots are the perfect color to match the jacket. I usually wouldn't even consider them for a job interview, but it is for a job crawling arount in burnt out houses.

So where do you guys go to exercise your fashion sense, if anyone on here does that?

I don't know if I agree with #24 and #27 though. #24, agree if it is a white short sleeve shirt and a black tie. I don'tthink a tie should really be worn with any short sleeve shirt though. #27, I used to get crap for wearing V-neck under shirts because I have hair on my chest. Thinking back, I couldn't have less respect for those people if I tried. I do like to wear colored undershirts that pair with pants or compliment a color in a patterened shirt on occassion. Can't do that with a V-neck.

I hate suit and tie, hence why I haven't gone into the office more than once a month in the past decade [Coffee] My only fashion reference is matching sweats and coar hat.

Bump for the employed, I mean morning, crew.

Dress For Success was always a good reference for "classic" men's dress. Maybe try The Art of Manliness.

If you can, go dark jacket (navy blazer) and light pants.

What kind of pattern does the khaki jacket have? Try getting ties that will go with different jackets.

The only time I wear suits anymore is to funerals. Although I may be pulling out the interview suit in the near future.

There is such a thing as over dressing for an interview. I like to find out what they wear day to day and step up one or two notches. Ive been asked to weld or walk jobsites in my interview clothes before.

I bought two full suits, one navy and one khaki, but only the khaki one will be ready by Wednesday. I didn't have a specific look in mind until I started looking at pictures online.

I've taken stuff into Mens Warehouse as well. Tell them what you need it for, show them what you have and they will lay out a few of the missing pieces for you as well as offer up maybe some other options.

I got the suits at K&G. Pretty excited to have actual fitted clothes. I actually enjoy dressing up nice, but don't do ot as often as I used to. Made sure to get colors/patterns that can be worn with other colors/patterns of pants to create more outfits.
