I wouldn't own a Taurus product myself but I like the idea of the 17 in a revolver. Pretty sure Ruger makes one too.
True. I don't have the greatest track record with Taurus's either...

I have the ruger single six in .17 hmr it is a great gun. I think your following the same path I did, I picked up a savage in .17 and liked it so much I got the hand gun soon after. I use it for crows rabbits and plinking.
Yeah, wabbits would be it's main diet!
