Don't want to spend hundreds on a coat I will never wear again. Tried the Arc thrift store near me but none of them fit.

I went to K&G Men's They have semi nice stuff and a tailor onsite. On sale days I got 3 suits for like $150
K&G or JCPenny I think both offer tailoring which is almost always a must.
I don't own one to lend but maybe borrow one if you can. Otherwise check thrift stores in other neighborhoods. I've been surprised by how much more nicer clothes are in say a littleton store vs. a central denver store.
Kohl's
Savers or Goodwill. I've found some of the best stores to be in Littleton. Lucky you, Tuesday (Veteran's Day) is 50% all clothes, too.
Another vote for thrift stores or consignment shops. ARC, Goodwill, etc... there must be half a dozen places within 20 miles of you. Find something close and if necessary get the sleeves altered. Get it dry cleaned and you are good to go.
I've got a sport coat that might fit, decent style. I just upgraded my suit for an interview. Welcome to try this older one out if you'd like?
Send me a PM. I'm close by!
Second what cstone wrote. Do a Google search for clothing consignment stores near your home and/or business address. I have one near me (Uptown Cheapskate) that has great used clothing.
I bought one at Kohl's for a funeral once. As soon as it was over I returned it, just save all the tags and re-attach them. The next time they were on sale I bought one just like it to keep 50% off.
