M9 is the military designation of the 92fs with different sights.
Beretta did sell a commercial M9, don't know if they still do, but I do own one. No 92 markings on it.Quote:

Jensens had one on the shelf last time I was in there.
I bought one at Cabelas Thornton, no idea what they currently have in stock. It is stamped M9, has the 'snowman' sights.
