I received an email regarding the new precision rifle. Looks like an interesting out of the box long rifle. Does anyone have any comments or thoughts. http://www.ruger.com/micros/rpr/index.html

It's very intriguing to me, great set of features at an amazingly low cost for the package. If I didn't already have my bases covered for this niche, I'd definitely be looking hard at picking one up.
6.5 Creedmoor is a nice, light cartridge for you Jim. Especially with the 120gr. bullets.
After shooting one of Rays (TBAC) 308's at the wcfw benefit last week, with their new Ultra 7 . I became addicted to a caliber & suppressor that's neither affordable or usable at this time. BUT that's never stopped me before. I think the Savage Hog Hunter is a nice entry for the wallet.
Looks like a well researched entry into the market. Turner's has them listed at $999.
Looks like a solid feature set with toolless adjusting stock, folding stock, keymod rail, adjustable trigger, and an easy barrel change. Wait and see on reports of accuracy and ability/availability to change out barrels.
If their barrels shoot they are going to sell a ton of those. If not, it's just another Ruger paperweight.
I honestly think they are a little late to the party . However seems like a nice entry to the sport for a decent price .
It's still a Ruger, so I'm out. Love their pistols, have never been able to get along with any of there rifles. Maybe they got it together on this one, but im not holding my breath.
