Rimfire optic
So I just got my hands on a new .22LR bolt-action rifle that needs an optic. I will be using this for plinking and some silhouette matches out to a hundred yards and am curious as to what everyone is running on their rifles. I have had good luck in the past with both Nikon and Vortex. Looking for something up to 12X or so since my eyes are starting to need more help than just a red dot.

I have heard good stuff about the Athlon Argos BTR 6-24. They are Mil/Mil, FFP with a good reticle. I have no person experience with them, but have heard very good things. I think for a 22 they would be great.

Thanks guys. I am going to take a look at a few of those and see what will work best.

Have Vortex Crossfire II 4X12X40 on .17hmr's, for the cost they're a great scope.

I have a Leupold 12x with adjustable objective on one of my 22 rifles. It is great from close up to an easy 100 yards and beyond. The 3-9x33 RF Leupold is also very nice in a more compact package.

I have Mueller scopes on most of my 22lr rifles. I also like the Hawke I recently bought.

Another vote here for the vortex

I purchased the Crossfire II and and waiting for my medium rings as the low Vortex rings are just a touch too short for the CZ 455. Hoping to get it out soon.
