Costco Business Center--Prepper's Paradise?
Anyone been to the Costco Business place on Alameda? It's where the old Lowe's used to be about 1/2 a mile East of Federal.
When people joke about Costco/Sam's, etc., this is really the place they're talking about--this is truly the place of the 5 gallons of soy sauce.

This place is larger than a regular Costco and even has different hours (7-6 M-F, 7-4 Sat, closed Sunday). It's got a lot of the same stuff as a regular Costco, but also more commercial stuff for restaurants, office supply, etc. There's no food court, no freebies, etc. But what they have frequently is larger sizes of the stuff you might need for preps, etc. They actually have full frozen lambs, too:

The walk-in freezer is larger than the average Walgreens--in fact, they anticipate you'll be in there long enough that they provide coats for you to wear.
One thing they have is giant containers of spices, obviously for a restaurant. Why do you need 4.5 lbs of dried onion? Well, if you're making rubs, etc., you go through a lot of it. 8 ounces is $6 at Wal-Mart. Here's 9X that amount for $13.

What's interesting is the place is a ghost town. This was at around noon today. Probably fewer than 10 people in the store.

Also, since there's nobody there, the employees seem to jump at human contact--i wheeled up to the check out and both lanes were open--and both tried to get me to come to their lane. Didn't even have to unload the cart.
