A shooting buddy got a Labradar for Christmas. We took it out today to give it a try. I was running my magneto speed simultaneously with it. The two gave very, very consistent results. Readings were typically separated by only 2 ft./s with the Labradar consistently reporting 2 feet per second slower.
I was most impressed by how easy it was to set up. All you do is set it on the ground and turn it on. It is triggered by an onboard microphone which was barely sensitive enough to pick up my suppressed 6 Dasher. I think there is some sort of external microphone that is available that should allow it to work more reliably with suppressed guns and 22s.
It is about the coolest thing ever. I'm pretty sure I need to have one.
