Call Employer, any more I think most employers are paranoid and won't do more than verify employment period, job title, and salary.
Feel free to PM me or call.
Shouldn't you just call the employer listed?
Problem is the employer is out of business.
Search linkedin and facebook for people who said they worked there, and if you can find any, some of them may talk to you. Might be possible to look up principals in public records if the employer was a public company, and contact them to ask if they can give you any contact information for some former employees who might be willing to talk to you.
Can always ask the applicant for references, and state specifically you want someone they worked with at the out-of-business employer.
But you may still end up not be able to verify anything at all.
You can find business records through the Secretary of State website (business search) at:
http://www.sos.state.co.us/biz/Busin...esetTransTyp=Y
It should give you some contact information on the company to reach out to.
Thanks for the info. There is a personal reason I'm looking for this information and it sounds like it maybe difficult to find.
You could always ask them for their W2 forms. That would at least show you that they worked there.
Not hiring this person just looking for info.
