carpet installers/ carpet stretcher contacts

So our carpet is 10 years old, looks pretty good really, except we developed a couple ripples over the last year.
I just called and got a quote for power stretching the carpet for $500.00. Seems a little steep.
Anyone here do that type of work, or know anyone who does? I'd like to get it taken care of.
