Cerakote or pistol refinishing

Does anyone know who does good quality Cerakote in Northern Colorado? I have a Sig Legion and I hate the finish. It comes off easily and the grey-green color just doesn't do it for me. The pistol itself is a sweet shooter, and I don't plan on ever getting rid of it. Sig will re-finish it, but only in the existing color. I was thinking it would be nice to have it professionally done in a nice satin black Cerakote or something similar, but I don't know who does good work. I would prefer to keep it local... Any suggestions?

If you venture down south, Danger Lee does great work as he did one of my 1911's. He's my go to for the future not having to mail it off.

Another +1 for Tim at Danger Lee. Here’s what my Defender ended up looking like after he got done taking a belt sander & 2 pound ball peen hammer to it.

That looks good! Simple and clean, I like it. How is it holding up?

The finish is holding up very well. The holster marks are just smudges that wipe right off. And no chipping so far.

You may also want to look into Norrells molyresin if you feel like spraying it yourself. I use that on a lot of builds as well as car parts and it's very abuse resistant. Quite a few suppressor manufacturers use Norrells because of it's heat resistance.
