Should be pretty cool. Taking 10-22 mags is a huge plus. And its already threaded for a can.
Hrm... look fwd to the release and subsequent reviews, especially in comparison to the savage offerings.
I picked one up today and went straight to the range, tried about 5 kinds of ammo and found two that show some potential.
Shot these groups at 50 yards only modification was a can. The Edge is 9 shots with #10 being a flyer. The group above left of it is 5 rounds measures about the same as the 9 round group. The Norma is a 5 round group. Awesome little gun!

Looks like 2018 Talo catalog has a .22 No.1 coming out also, not on the official ruger website yet with product numbers 1310 and 1301 https://www.dropbox.com/s/gw65yhi8sp...og_v4.pdf?dl=0
I factory #1 in 22LR. That will be cool. Might have to get one, just cause.
At the $500 Price point what could be the down side?
I am hearing folks have been getting them for $399. That is decent accuracy, better than I would have guessed.
Hoser, is there a SD difference in .22 ammo with a match tuned semi-auto vs. a bolt gun shooting the same ammo?
$399 even better.. :-)
