here is a nice minty lf&C knuckle duster. picked up four of them from a guy up in meade colorado
next the french au lion with black painted sheath and au lion mark
next another lf&c without any sheath belt loop prongs
last but not least a nice 1917 lf&c 'i have both variations'

Neat! The 1917 model is cool, but I’ve always wanted a 1918 personally. I never seem to have the money when I see one locally though.

i love the u.s fighting knives the most but do have some fairbairn sykes daggers as well. i am always interested in seeing edged toys anyone may have to share.

It looks like a M1917 bayonet to me, in great shape too! Depending on the handle, it could be a British P14 bayo, markings will help determine. There were subtle differences and some of the P14 bayos manufactured for Britain were issued to US troops when we entered WWI (weren't enough M1903s to go around).

The Winchester made M1917 bayos are highly collectible and rare. There are also modern counterfeits. The Remington ones are still desirable in good shape.
