Seat Covers and storage

Here I am again...

Looking for a recommendation on seat covers, and first rear seat covers in my new to me pickup. I have two small kids and a 3rd on the way so I like something rugged. My boy is big enough to not need a car seat but his feet don't touch the ground so he likes to bring them on the car seat. And really i wanted to make a rule of no eating in this vehicle, but with no dining in restaurants it makes it a little tough. Looking for something rugged that won't interfere with under the seat storage in the back seat. I have done lots of google searches out there and man I just feel inundated with lots of info....I kind of like Marathon seat covers.

Also, kind of looking for some lock box options under the seat and center console. I know about Tuffy, I just wanted to see what else was out there.

They weren't cheap but I love my trek armor seat covers in my jeep, they fit tight and breathe pretty well. I think they go by "Bartact" now. Not sure what all truck models they support though.
I have several tuffy items too, including under seat locking compartments and the rear jeep enclosure / deck. Very happy with all their products.

I have had the cabelas seat cover for yhe last 14 years. 12 years in my last truck, the driver side cover was finally coming apart at the seam. Almost two years in the new truck the front covers still look new, the back cover has several stains, but the seat underneath is still in great condition. Stuff do es s get through the seatbelt holes, but mostly goldfish and oyster crackers, not so much liquid. At $30 for the bench seat, I dont mind replacing it once a year if needed, but I have taken it out and washed it at the car wash.

I've bought these covers for 3 trucks and 2 cars over the past 10 years or so. They're very heavy duty and they're a custom fit for your particular vehicle. Not the cheapest, that's for sure, but the best I've ever seen. I have them in my F-250 and Cruze right now. They actually look like factory seat fabric in the truck they fit so well.

I feel your pain, Kev. I love my kids, I love my wife, and I love my truck, but the order changes at any given moment. The truth is you can't truly have nice things until your kids are gone, without maximum effort against the chaos. If you don't already own one, might as well get a quality shop vac and a crevice tool. I still can't figure out how so many goldfish crumbs, M&Ms, and french fries end up under my Weather-Tech floormats. Price of life, I suppose. As to seat covers, Wet Okole aren't cheap, but they look nice and are water-proof, so you won't suffer the slings and arrows of watching the seats in your beloved truck become permanently stained with old chocolate milk and apple juice. I did them in the back seat, and they worked great. Unfortunately, I didn't do the front seats at the time, and my kids managed to trash out the front passenger seat as they got older.

I got a great deal on a 2017 Ram Laramie with low mileage. I want to have the truck for a while. I had to sell my Rubicon a few years ago to buy my wife's car after the hail storm that totaled it and I have been driving questionable vehicles since. Now we got some bills paid off and a couple raises so it was time for me to get a new vehicle. So right now the love of my truck is still in the honeymoon phase....

Thanks for including the make/model/year, what type of cab does it have? I'll take a look when I get a chance. I know the 2019 Ram 1500 that I have comes with in-floor storage in the back of the Crew Cab. There are optional locks available for those. There are also some vault options for the console depending on which console you have. If your console moves forward and rearward, there were some limitations on vault size interfering with the travel. On my truck there's a lot of electronics under the driver's seat, so that's not an option for me, but I'm not that familiar with your truck. I believe the jack and some accessories ride under the passenger seat on my truck. There are also some under-seat options for the back of the crew cab that are lockable, but you also lose some floor space.

I have some space on the driver's side under the back seat. The passenger side has the subwoofer. The front passenger has the tools and the driver seat has a bunch of electronics. I have the crew cab. My plan was to do some kind of vault system in the center console (it's a huge space) and under the back seat. I nice place for added security for equipment.

It also appears that your truck may have the in-floor storage in the rear floors.
