Is there anyone local that will cut the auto sear relief on an upper?
Yes, I could dremel it out................ I'd like a little more professional than that.
Yes, it's for a properly registered gun.................. :)
Thanks!

I think I originally put this in the wrong section, so I'm posting here too:

The reality of your ask- unless you have a special unicorn upper the cost of setup, machining and refinishing would be more than a new upper that is cut already.
A fully assembled Aero is $100 and its select fire comparable.
You don’t wanna know how I know.

Curious why you would bother when all styles (a1, a2, a3) stripped uppers with relief are so cheap and available?
I'm sorry I should've been clearer.......................
Alot/Some of RR AR15 are conversions of the old COLT SP1 rifles............ but they are the so called "large pin" versions.
SO........................ unless you want to use the pin adapter............. you can still get the "large pin" uppers.
BUT........... they don't have the relief cut on the uppers, which if you don't have, will bind up the auto sear............
So either get the large pin upper modified or buy one purposely built.
Ok yes that makes sense.
Well here is an option for you: https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/A...-SP1-p6743.htm
Though the adapter pin solution would let you just run most anything out there.
Yep............ thanks!
If I can't find anyone to mod the one I have already............... I was going to order one of those.
The large pin upper I do have is essentially free to me, as I got it in a larger deal.
So Mod if I can................ if not.......... there you go.
