El Paso SO recently changed their web page to show renewals require refresher training.
Per a call to EPSO, this only applies after 7/1/25. I sent my renewal in today. My license expires in May.

Yep. Per the new law, renewals are going to be a mandatory 2hr class with range time. Initial permits are going to require an 8hr class with range time.

I'm all about training, but this is just another barrier to entry to make it harder for citizens to exercise their rights.
Yes, the liberal dems are doing everything they can to eliminate private gun ownership. Constitutional rights be damned.
Can you say "Literacy test"?

FYI, EPSO scheduling for NEW permit interviews is already beyond 7/1. I have no idea why the "original" concealed carry county is slow-walking permits so much.

I just found out that or fund from CPW, CBI, and the wildlife cash fund are being used to fund gun bill SB25-003. I’m not going to put in for tags or fishing license if they are going to use the funds to disarm us. Sorry to throw this thread off topic
So, you can't renew any more than 120 days before your expiration date which if I do the math right my 10/31 expiration date puts me at July 1st. Is anyone offering the 2 hour refresher classes yet?
Weld County is the same, will only allow you to renew 120 days before. I called and she said they are only accepting renewal certifications from the instructors listed on their website (https://www.weldsheriff.com/Services...uctor-Tracking).
What type of documentation is required to show I shoot IDPA, NSCA, ICORE, NRL22, or etc?
