Snowpocalypse/Snowmeggedon 2026

I'm surprised no one has started a thread on this yet but if the forecasts for the U.S. are accurate, I'm certain it will eventually get discussed, so...I figured I'd go ahead and start it.

Except for the High Country, Colorado isn't really supposed to get hit very hard - at least not as compared with a lot of the rest of the U.S. east of us.

How bad do you think it's going to get? When it's all said and done, how bad did you get hit?

Especially interested in Bailey Guns experience as he's in Oklahoma where it's forecasted to be bad.

Got less than 1/2in here in wellington so far, its gonna be cold as shit shooting trap on sun.

I am on the north end of Colorado Springs today. It's certainly cold, but there isn't anything worth reporting otherwise.

Peterson and Cheyenne mountain are sending non-critical home early, that started at 11:30. I haven't received a notification of early closure from the grade-school yet.

We were flying up in the mountains yesterday. There isnt shit for snow in the high country. I welcome as much snow as mother nature wants to dump.

Right now, the 2026 fire season is going to be rough if things dont change fast.

I just returned from a bidness trip to Brooklyn, it was all they were talking about there. Even though the revised forecast shows the worst of it going elsewhere.

Roads are getting a little slick across COS. Had to use 4 wheel drive to get going after a red light on Powers.
