Denver survival Co-op: Knives and sharpening december

Topic: Choosing knives, sharpening and care.

Location: Paramount park gazebo/bbq 27th and Kipling west side of the park. Street parking. *** This is a tentative meeting place, we may have an indoor location offered to us soon*** (indoor suggestions welcome)

Time: Sunday Dec 5th or 12th 9am sharp-10:45 ***the guest speaker is going to let me know the exact date.

Gear required: 1 Open mind, dress for the elements

Optional gear: Lawn chair, note book, your knife and or sharpening gear

Cost: $0 (donations are accepted)

Our guest speaker Trey will talk about what to look for when selecting a knife with it's purpose in mind. He will discuss and/or illustrate sharpening everything from axes and tomahawks to sushi knives. Both portable and home sharpening techniques will be shown.

A handout will be prepared for all who RSVP

To the co-op attendees, I've been offered an indoor place for december's meeting but it's in Broomfield at aprox 120th and sheridan.

What say you?

I'm going to try and make this one. I'd drive much further to be indoors.

That is a bummer. Will it be rescheduled or is the guest instructor moving out of town?
