14 degrees, winter storm warnings and cars in every ditch.

Figured with the weather it was not going to be a hunting trip...
Woke up -7 degrees winds blowing at least 30 making the wind chill -35
26 miles in by gravel roads white out conditions. Figured we had better stay in the ditch.

10 miles up the creek...
saw a couple hundred sage grouse and a few antelope
Visibility was down to 50 feet a few times

After a lot of abuse and after they had told one guy that offered to pull me out that I had not suffered enough a second came along and ignored there pleas I was out less than 1 block from the hotel

No coyotes but we did see some elk, antelope and sage grouse

And since Ralph had abandoned his family to go play I bought him a shirt to be a constant reminder of his family

You can poke fun at the H1 all you want, but it gets the job done and at very high altitude.

one more thing the guns were all froze. Even if we had seen something there was no loading them.
I was thinking about that H1 and all the fun I could have in it.........
