My buddy and I go out coyote hunting quite a bit, our main spot is out in Watkins, and we can usually bag a few when we go out at the right time.
But we went out a couple days ago and there was nothing there... did't see any coyotes, didn't get a response to the calls, didn't even see so much as a freakin rabbit.
So... anybody know of some good, LEGAL spots? We'll go to Kiowa, Elizabeth, Franktown, Watkins... pretty much anywhere within an hour and a half or so drive from Parker/Centennial.
Thats my problem! I just don't know any areas to go? But let me know what areas you find. I'll buy the gas!! [Tooth]
Watkins is usually a good spot, our other spot is our buddies ranch down in Elizabeth which is a guaranteed 3-4 'yotes an hour but he's been pretty busy lately.

One other piece of advise: I day call from Labor Day until about Thanksgiving, and then switch to night hunting because by Thanksgiving, all of the dumb ones are dead, and whats left most likely have been called in and shot at and won't come in to a call. And I usually quit for the year when I start to see them paired up for mating, which is usually by March 1st.......Gotta save some for next year! Hope this helps. This is my favorite type of hunting!
