Wish it were in Colorado
Visited relatives in North Las Vegas Nevada, as far away from the "THE STRIP" as you can get an still be in the city limits. Had the opportunity to get in some shooting at the CLARK COUNTY SHOOTING PARK, yep you heard me right the "CLARK COUNTY" SHOOTING PARK.
This place is as awesome as it is organized. Not some cheesy field scrapped off and targets hung up.
Check it out for yourself, at www.accessclarkcounty.com/shootlasvegas
If you cruise around on YOUTUBE you can see even more.
Too bad none of the surrounding county governments in this state aren't this enlighten or in tune to the desires of a big portion of their constituency.
This place even has a SHOOTERS CAMPGROUND with 80 full service hook up RV sites.
So, if you really want to have some fun and get someting for your money , later for gambling or hookers in Vegas, visit the CLARK COUNTY SHOOTING PARK.

Link didn't work for me, but I found it here:

Adams County is trying to open a County owned indoor range out 120th just north of DIA. Won't be this big, and probably won't open for another five years, but I look forward to every new range opening just so I can contribute some EPA regulated hazardous material into their range trap.
Next time I'm in Vegas I hope I have time to check this place out.
Thanks for sharing.

Talk about pro-active!
Any of the counties around here could make some good money by doing this, not to mention the positive safety issue.
We can only dream.
Perhaps Boulder County can lead the way - LOL.
They could even have themed days starting with 'Shoot the Prius'.
