Anyone get a CMP M1 lately?
How long did it take?
What grade did you get?
How was the condition?
Thanks

My buddy just ordered two, said it took a week from order to doorstep. I think he got a service and a field grade. I haven't seen either yet, but he's very happy with what he got.
I got one this past summer. Took about 4 weeks from the time I ordered until it hit my doorstep. I got a service grade Springfield. It was in pretty good shape. The metal was in real good shape and almost all the parts are Springfield. The stock was also in good shape as well. No cracks or major discoloration. I've ran about 70 rnds through it with no issues. I did have the gas block fixed, but this was preventative maintenance.
They just released M1903s and are still playing catch up for those. I have had an order in since 1 OCT and hasn't' been hit yet.
Field Grades have been better than Usual. I encourage people to get Field grades, better chance for WWII parts on the SAs, I don't like the new wood that you have a 50% chance of getting with the Service grade, and My FG shot just as well as my Service grade. I've been let down by the Service grades before, However you'll never be let down by a Field Grade.
Prices are about to go up as well, no one knows how much but expect at least an 8% price increase.
Compared to the Garand at the Gun Shows, well anywhere, you can never go wrong with CMP, and it supports a Great cause.
Just checked the time stamp, I got, got.
I have been thinking of ordering a Field Grade.
I see that ar-15.co is listed as one of the affiliated clubs.
How do we provide proof of membership? Or is there some other membership other than this board that is required?
Thanks.
Guess it's the Garand Collectors Assn then.
Thanks.
If you come shoot a highpower match at Frontier next month you can get a certificate.
