I've been pretty prepared for when the SHTF but my latest tool is live animal traps. Rabbits,squirrels ect.... they are pretty tasty. I have all the wheat, rice, seeds, dried butter & eggs but where's the beef? I have some property but don't see much big game up there. Harbor Freight had some on sale a couple weeks back for about $25 so I grabbed some.
Probably close to a couple dozen, different sizes.
I have one... kinda forgot I had it... one of the HF types...
Tried to use it once - but my cat was too samrt for it.

I'll have to give them a try and see if they are worth a crap. There are enough rabbits in most neighborhoods to feed a army it seems like. I wonder if you could catch some rabbits and breed them if it looks like a long term disaster.Quote:
