Boulder County is trying to relocate a Waste Transfer Site to that location

The article says they want to get the waste site off federal land
So they are going to sell the shooting site
Why not sell the current site????????????????

sure they can sell it. it is the Govt's land after all. we're just allowed to use it.
So the plan is to herd everyone into LHC then close it?
Yeah they can sell it
But they are trying to sell them "extra" land in order to stay where they are
And they call it a dump ...just to help make it sound reasonable
When in fact it is no more a dump than any trash can is.
They have dumpsters (and dumping stations) in National Parks
There are lots of options including extending the lease
But they wouldn;t get rid of a shooting area

The "shooting range" at hwy 7 & 72 is not an old landfill. Perhaps it is just close to there?

there is only be one spot near 7&72 under consideration unless they want to either bulldoze trees & a flat area or put it right beside the road. I doubt wither of those are options.
