Let us know how that .50 shoots, will ya? I'm price/quality shopping .50 AR-15 uppers vs. dedicated rifles, and I'm curious what kind of accuracy you get out of the one you just got. Right now I've got my eye on the Serbu BFG, but the Ultramag is tempting too...
so far i love it! shoots a big ragged hole at 100 yards. i haven't got a chance to shoot at any great distances yet as i only have the one range set up so far at the house. i hope to have a 350 yard range in the next few weeks and am seeking permission to shoot at a dirt pile my neighbor has set up. that is about 800 yards out.
Cool beans. I've just recently got the .50 cal itch, and am still deciding between Ultramag, State Arms Rebel, or Serbu BFG. Not that I really have a place to hit anything past 1000 yards reliably, but just to know I COULD... ;)
speciality sports in the springs has a Barret, a Styr, and the Serbu's in standard and carbine length. i have to say that i am very happy with my choice. the $2195 price tag let me spend money on a better scope. I went with the Mark 4. heck the rings will get you for $150 easy.
