Colt Defender vs. Kimber Pro Carry

I've had a trade offer made for one of my guns on another board, and the guy's offering me either this Colt Defender:

or an older model Kimber Pro Carry with some blueing wear that he's offered to refinish in either gunkote, or cerakote.

I'm tempted by both, but am not that familiar with 1911's, particularly the top end ones. Which one do you think I should go for? I really like the look of the Defender, but I've heard great things about Kimber. AAHHH!!! My head's going to pop! :) I'd appreciate anybody's opinion on these.

I have no experince with either, see which one fits you best (probably both the same) :roll:

I never heard of the "frontline" place, but that doesn't mean anything, because, what do I know?

Kimber is a safe buy if it's been taken care of.

7idl - I was leaning toward the Defender because I like the smaller size, but I just got a cash offer anyway, so the whole thing's moot. Thanks for your input anyway!
