I was going to til I saw that clip on the news, f that
I already got my buck tag, and they have several hundred left overs for doe that I will probably pick up.
Since they have so many in a really small GMU, and they are private land only, and I already have a tag, I'm just going to wait until tomorrow and take my chances.
I am waiting to pick up a cow tag but there should be plenty left overs.
Yup and I got screwed out of every one. I waited in line for three hours this morning since 6 am, was 10th in line, and somehow the 70+ licenses that I was looking at were all sold out by the time that I got there.
Going to go get an OTC elk license later today when the hell subsides. Man I am mad that everything I wanted was gone.
Keep in mind, those 70 licenses were on sale at every location that sells leftover tags in the entire state. Hot section leftovers don't last 10 minutes, and a very low tag count year like this year was probably worse.
This whole tag system is about MONEY and making as much as possible for the state. Quality management doesn't have to be so twisted and convoluted that it takes an outside company to write the hunter's pamphlets.
Tag sales will be out of control today. I even got called in to work this afternoon, on my day off, to help with them.
Ill buy mine later there are always a ton of tags leftover for my unit. I got a muzzleloader bull tag so im good to go!
Spent 1 1/2 hr. in line. Picked up a extra cow tag. Its worth it.
