Go to the Pueblo P-dog / Sniper match. You will learn a ton from a lot of nice people.

Long distance shooting without ATV or SUV is such pain in the butt.
I had hard time going down about ~400m to set up the target. [LOL]
You should probably poke around the precision rifle section
