Is the rattling because of an out of spec receiver or safety selector? Should be mil-spec sizes.

As stated before I'm not an AR guy but my understanding is that the hole is milled a little larger than normal and there's no spring. I have read that some guys have put other safeties in and that has helped. I did a couple drop tests when I got mine and it works as intended. It's actually harder than any other safety I have to actuate.
Interesting....

Anybody know how easy it is to swap the rail out for a different free float tube?

Well I guess I'll chime in. I picked up a Steiner Military 3-15 last Thursday, and my RPR in 6.5 creedmoor Friday morning at 8am at Jax in Lafayette. All three in 6.5 they sold, but they might have some in 308 and 243. Jax in Loveland just called me and I passed on one in 308 (I had been on a "call-me list"). $1029+tax.
As I passed Mile High Shooting my impatience got to me. I called them to see if they had an AR style one piece mount and was doing a u-turn at the next exit. Owner was nice like always. As I decided to buy the American defense recon 34mm paid ($180) I asked the guy helping me if he would mount the scope for me. He said ya and boresighted it too! I dont know if that's standard service, but I was pretty happy.
