We did a stage for an IDPA match that had a 25yd rifle shot as part of COF. It was kinda corny but different. With IDPA being pistol game and all, there were a few competitors that pitched a fit and a couple who refused and just skipped it. Instead of enjoying something different and seeing it as challenge or learning task.
Most of us tend to be protective of our sacred cows.
Maybe that's the problem with bolt guns. No double taps.
