Finally got the tree planting finished. Lucked out, forgot that we decided last fall that 90 trees was more than we wanted to deal with at one time, only had to plant 50.

They've already issued the warnings, this was the first 100 degree temp since we've moved here.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1c940019af.jpg

Too much for me.
110 + [LOL][ROFL3]
sheet boy you just warming up. We saw temps in the mid 115's down there, in Yuma and the Kingman area last year. We get all you sun birds from tucson & the valley around this time of year. They stay until it starts getting cold. Like mid sept, when the daytime temp drop below mid 80's.
That's a huge effort and will payoff big in ten years and on with more wildlife and privacy. When we built our home we inherited a wildlife shelter belt with a hundred trees and shrubs. We immediately added 350 trees and shrubs, then more each year with nursery plants, transplants and volunteers. It began with CO state forest service seedlings. It's really rich with wildlife now. We love it.
No way for me. I had enough share of my heat during my San Bernandino days. I thought visit to Baker CA, was hot, but not complaining compare to AZ. Only place I can probably tolerate AZ is Flagstaff. :D
