Here's an odd bit of trivia. I have a sea sponge that has been coated in silver stapled into my excision. It inhibits bacterial growth.

I think it looks like someone went to town with a brillo pad.

Most of us know of the curative properties of silver, especially if you had to go on sick call after a weekend of liberty.......

The natural sponge is strange, it must reduce auto-immune reactions to foreign bodies.

For sure you want to fight the area, and let them know who is boss.

I continue to fight the area around my collarbone, which was replaced with a bunch of metal, etc.

Also because it is porous, it allows for fluids to drain. Still looks funny af though.
