Friend went to the convenience store last night. There was a truck parked at a weird angle. He parked behind it but stayed in the car as his wife went inside. Watched a woman inside having trouble walking around. That woman came out and got into the truck. NO ONE in front of her (that is why he parked behind her) but she puts it in reverse and starts coming at his car. He gets out just in time to beat on the back of her truck, yelling at her to stop. She finally did, after pinning him between his door and the car. (He should have got out of the way) Another inch backward and there would have been broken bones.

He told the patrolman that was called that he didn't think she should be driving. The patrolman said "you don't have to worry about that" as he placed her under arrest and hauled her off.

I guess drunk & driving is --- stupid....right?

The good news is that the sun has about 5,000,000,000 years left before it burns out. The bad news is that the people that get to drive E-470 for free will have to use their headlights and drive in the dark.

I do not know what I was thinking 22+ years ago, but after long term bond becomes mature , I thought state of CO w would make it free.

That dream disappeared when they leased it longer term to pay the bond off.

It's costing me $5 a day to cross the Tacoma Narrows bridge to get to work every morning. Still cheaper than taking a boat and quicker than swimming.
