Whew… what a mess. Hawaii only accepts Covid test results from certain providers, but their state website is a confusing bureaucratic mess. We got negative Covid tests from “the wrong place” that wasn’t on their approved provider list… so we had to go get the exact same type of test (PCR) from a different place 30 mins away so that we can fly to Hawaii. Thankfully insurance covered the costs, but we spent 3 hours driving today and another 2 hours sitting in medical facilities just to meet Hawaii’s stupid tyrannical Covid rules. I wish I was more excited about moving to Hawaii, but it’s literally a progressive dystopia supported by tourism. :(
