Tape measure?? lightweight. One uses a yard stick. Well at least some of us do

Helmets...I've collected a few over the years. A few of my personal requirements: full-face, modular, flip-up, built-in sun-visor, comfortable, good reviews. Cost, color, manufacturer are secondary. You might go to a cycle shop with an assortment of helmets and try some on.
Shoei, Nolan, and Schuberth all have excellent choices.
They ask me 1 or 2. Was assuming cubic yards, not a truckload.

Thank god I only said one.
Thanks OBC.
Last night in the Apartment.
It's worse than a college dorm. One shitty narrow office chair that kills my back and a card table is all that's left for the most part. And the craptastic bed that's also wrecked my back.
Popped the upgrade on one flight already, doesn't look like I'll make the Chi-Den leg in front.
First time in my life I'll have 3 bags checked and a carry on. Thankfully I get 3 free up to 70lbs. Two bags full of crap to move besides the 2 pieces of sentimental furniture I had to pay someone to move. One of those bags is a box of fresh frozen Lake Michigan Coho Salmon (and a slab of Steelhead). Will make for some mighty fine eating at Elk camp this year.
I gained 10 freaking pounds here in 2 months. Good reminder of one reason I left this place.
Made it back home Saturday despite UA.
777 pushed back from C10 at ORD, rolled out to taxiway. Full Stop. UA systems crashed.
Sit 1+ hour (paid* FC seat) so RHIP
NoGo on the takeoff, going back to the gate.
No gates. Weather in Denver (?) and earlier issues are rippling through the fleet.
1+ hour later, we're going to M13 (international terminal gate) WTF?
Sit...
Scratch that, back to the gate we started from.
Forced to deplane through a single gate (300 Pax). OK, fine, grab another beer in Club and then back to the gate.
Finally, we depart and make it home 4 hours after planned arrival. Could have been worse I suppose. At least the crew didn't timeout and get cancelled with no heavy qualified crew available.
* First time in my life I've ever paid full (surge) price to upgrade a seat. Vying for 1K on United and I'm spending like a drunk sailor to hit the PQP requirement. Upgraded us also for a return flight in Nov to Inurn Mom, buying award accelerators when I can. Making 1K is a big deal and brings great rewards. 2023 will probably be the last year I fly a lot and with a trip to Guam in play, I need the status and Plus Points.
