So sorry to hear about the loss of your buddy, tough stuff for sure.
As hard as it is when they leave, you can still remember the times you stepped barefoot in his crap and how thrilled he was to see you every afternoon! You can't beat a dog's devotion, period.
Walking through the park yesterday, Popcorn spotted a bunny and did her usual slow stalk. She got within 2 feet of so and the rabbit bolted right, then left- directly into the waiting jaws of a super predator!
Pop gave it a good shake, then let it go and chased it into a downspout extension of a nearby house.
She then proceeded to spit rabbit fur out of her mouth for the next five minutes.
I think they look better than they taste!
Regardless, I am very proud of her. She has been chasing them for six years and finally bagged one.

Haven't been to this thread since I lost Snoopy, but I adopted a new boy a month ago - meet Bentley! He's 6-1/2, won many prizes as a show dog, is an AKC Certified Grand Champion, and breeding sire that's fathered many litters of puppies. Pedigree as pure as the driven snow. Came from a breeder here in Parker that needed to retire him because of his age. The sweetest little boy, as sweet as Snoopy was, and a real snuggle bug. As a former show dog, he's VERY good on a leash, will just walk right beside me, no pulling or craziness, only sniffing. God sent me another angel.....

Great looking beast.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Popcorn is in love. Maybe he could throw out one more litter? Asking for a friend...
Beautiful pupper
Happy dog!
