Watched Ad Astra tonight and it was laughably bad. I can see no comparison to Forrest Gump at all. Forrest Gump was a fantastic piece of work, but Ad Astra was laughably stupid with a horrible plot and non-stop emo monologues. It was flipping BORING. Everything simple goes wrong to create drama, and the impossible just happens with no problem whatsoever.Quote:

We miss Longmire, too. He's a good guy, a little flawed like all of us, but he did his best.
Lately we've been following Bosch. Sucks that we've run out of the Verizon high speed data only 9 days into the month. We might have to make a change up one of these days.
Started 'Lillyhammer' on Netflix. Gangster goes into witness protection program, in Lillehammer Norway.
First two episodes are not bad, some funny stuff in there. The culture clash is fun to watch.
Warrior Nun on Netflix is uniquely terrible. Well, I guess just regular terrible. Either way, I've enjoyed watching it so far.
Lately I've been judging shows on their level of "wokeness." This show is written poor enough that I can't even tell if it's supposed to be woke or not.
