Would you guys recommend ladder testing 30-30 reloads out of an open sights model 94? Not going to shoot past 100-125 yards...
I would. Just to see how much variation in different loads and see if I could find an accurate and soft shooting round. Experimentation is fun and one of the by products is knowledge.

You would say that. Hah. $0.30 per projectile and 2 similar rifles. And limited supply of booolits.
Cleaned/tumbled about 250 .223 and the sized, deprimed, and trimmed them to length.
As much as I like shooting my 94's, there is no such thing as enough booolits.Quote:

Started my first official attempts at reloading. Worked on establishing some baseline data. Then I started a thread about it.
Rec'd a couple chinese LEDs I bought on ebay, going to try to make a skylight for the 650.
Ordered a few parts from dillon
Played with a new wet tumbler. I will advise how it works out soon.
