You certainly can replace a cheap knife many times for the cost of a good knife so I can't fault you for that. Some of it is prestige too if I'm being honest. Used to be I'd invest in a nice Tag to wear but now that Smartwatches are much more functional I have a hard time spending that kind of money on something that "feels" nice, ya know? That role has kind of been taken over by knives for me. I justify it by how well they work, how long they last and the warranty associated with them but you can buy and throw away a lot of crappy knives so it's not all about quality differences.Quote:
