In honor of Alan Rickman we watched Love Actually, which not only has Andrew Lincoln in it, but we found to be pretty funny. Based on the amount of similar cast, the sequel to Love Actually is apparently Nanny Mcphee.
Then we watched Sicario where Benicio Del Toro is a complete and total badass. Pretty great movie. We were a bit befuddled by Emily Blunt's character.
This morning we watched The Martian, which was also a wonderful movie. All worth a watch.
On deck tonight were two selections from Amazon Prime.
First was A Most Violent Year. I remember seeing this movie advertised, then never heard anything about it again. It was only rated 3 stars on Amazon, and it's more realistic than anything. Just a guy trying to grow a business legitimately, while everyone else in the industry is dirty and doing him dirty. Not a lot of action, but I thought it was solid for what it was.
Second was a short documentary about Sriracha and the history of the sauce. Only 33 minutes long and very interesting. Two interesting tidbits. Sriracha from Hoy Fung Foods (the Sriracha you're thinking of and familiar with) has had sales increases of 20% every year since 1987. Sriracha has never advertised. It's worth the watch. I don't know if it's on Netflix or not.
So, buying stock in Sriracha must be a good investment.
