I am thinking my gun needs a very thorough cleaning and inspection. I haven't given it a full takeapart cleaning in almost a year and about 1k rounds down the pipe.
ETA: I did check the scope mounting. It's tight. It's a Larue LT-104.

250 more 38 spl. My nephew is doing a quick visit this weekend. He will see what it's like to have un-restricted access to all kinds of firearms & NFA items.
Primed 400 cases of 40.
Little bit of a lot of stuff over the weekend. .338-06, .308, .44 mag test loads (new cast boolit), .45 Colt and .357 mag.
Rebuilding my .260 loads with the 123 Scenars for the MWS.
Trying a different powder for the .260 bolt gun with 142 SMKs. I'm thinking that slower powder might be fine to make sure I'm filling the case up enough. Not too
Getting back into .223 for the fun of shooting that caliber at distance.
Going to try some HP-38 with 158gr RNFP xtreme plated 368 spl loads. So use to TG but the data is sketchy. The HP-38 from hogdon looks exactly like their TG . Burn rate puts TG 2-3 faster than the HP-38.
Weird changing over once you have a comfort level with different powder.
Formed about 500 pcs of LR118 brass into 260 and then ran them through the annealer for a friend. New brass to go with her new gun.
Loaded another set of 80 rounds, 10 rounds for each powder weight. Have to start all over after switching from Berry's plated to Extreme plated. Good news is that I'm getting noticably faster and more consistent now. Passed the 300 rounds reloaded mark.
