I’m in the same boat. I’m past maximum capacity and it’s literally playing Tetris to get them to fit back in. The rifle rods really help with guns with optics and pistol grips but they don’t necessarily offer more space. I think I’ll get another medium sized safe because it’s a lot easier to move two medium ones vs one giant one.
Yeah mine holds my P228 with a loaded mag, it just swivels left/right very easily and sometimes that makes it tricky to place the guns on them in the dark lol.
Only one of my AR uppers has a light on it, and one light in the safe that's above the shelf, making it hard to spot those rods in the shadows.

I use some of those S hangers for pistols to get some extra capacity. Haven't had an issue with any of my guns being too heavy, but I also tend to use the shelf space with a vertical rack for the heavier ones.
