Finally! Over 3 months since order. First one transferred at my LGS, I've had plenty of time to make a new gunbelt, but needed the gun for the holster. Time to cut leather.

Like others here I've enjoyed watching the progress of your moves from Colorado. Sorry to see you go, partly because we never met in person. Looks like you've found a great place and I'm a little envious, (even though I'll never leave our home in Colorado). Your property is much like our farm outside Palisade but more green. I hope it becomes the culmination of your dream home.
Thinking of operating an FFL there? Or, how about an RV camp for travelling CO-AR members? /JK
Best wishes in your new home!
The place is only a few years old. But, we're completely tearing out all the carpet from all the rooms and putting down vinyl plank floors. Repainting the whole interior. New kitchen cabinets and countertops on order. It's gonna be gorgeous when it's done. But getting there is gonna take a lot of work.
Met the neighbor (pretty much the only neighbor) yesterday. Really nice guy, just a little younger than us. Shooter, hunter, etc...
And of course... Plenty of room to park an RV or stay inside the guest room at Casa de Corgi if you find your way down there! :) And I'm anxious to see what kind of birds I can spot. I've heard lots of owls and coyotes but haven't seen any yet. Haven't spent enough time there to do much bird watching. Really looking forward to that.
A warning on vinyl plank flooring. We are about to replace ours. about 10 years old, and it's all cupping and coming apart. The hard material flooring doesn't do that. We did the hard flooring at the same time, and the upstairs bath and my shop are like new.

We thought about the wood-look tile. Probably not a good fit in this house...but I did like it. The stuff we're putting down is supposed to be 100% waterproof and guaranteed for the life of the home. It damn well better be for the price.
I wasn't EVing (opposite of ICEing). I was using squeezee! :D
Glad that I got rid of 19mpg Taco. I wanted to get rid of a taco to offset the monthly gas cost.
Got a first EV as a lease. If I can get full 7500 tax, I would have just purchased it. When I lease it, Kia gets entire 7500 and put entire 7500 as a rebate.
7500* fed rebate + 3400 manuf rebate on lease cap reduction (down pay)= $10400
Traded in the Tacoma which MSRP was 36,500ish, and got 33000 after 3 years of usage. Down the down payment and got the rest.
Save $40-50/week on gas.
* there are no rebate for TSLA or GM. Little left for Nissan, and plenty on Kia+Hyundai.

Welcome to the dark side. Unless I have a need that forces it that I can't get around, I'll never go back.
