I noticed you stated this is a "used" Rem..... did the owner before you disclose any ejection issues to you (I strongly doubt if there was anything said if there were any issues)? The bolt also looks like it has a low round count through it... as wondered by not only me... if that bolt had an issue to begin with too.... If you can remember: How far was your cases gettin launched when they were getting ejected and how hard was it to get the bolt back before this happened?
The PO said it had been issue free for about 200 shots. Prior to his shot everything had been cycling smoothly. I had only shot 5 rounds, and I caught 4 of the cases as they came out. The only one I didn't catch went 3-4 feet and fell off the table I was shooting on.
Okay... just wanted to hear if it had trouble ejecting or something.... aw man.. yep... it could be the brass then.. I've never seen anything like that that would tear up the rim of a bolt.Quote:
