For for off match shoots anytime, the 20+ years i was a member, they were never open to members . They do a nice gen public shoot. Just wish they allow us members to use the one area during the week.Quote:

The Cherry Creek State Park shooting center has sporting clays
Colorado Rifle Club has a Sporting Clays area. Their stations are not specifically to mimic any specific bird species in most cases (set up as more this looks fun lets try this) and I prefer to think of it as clay pigeon golf. The range always has the same core groups of regular shooters and the occasional new group. I would not know how it compares to other locations either favorably of unfavorably. None of the traps are automated but I have a fun time with it once a month. The range although one of the better money makers for the club is an almost an austere afterthought.
