Just got 500 rounds of this, I check back after I get a chance to run it.

SuperiorDG, that stuff hammered in my 40X with the stock barrel. I'll report how it shoots in the new Lilja after Tuesday night at the OTC. I also shot a group with it in Hoser's 40X, and it put 5 shots nearly through the same hole at 50m.
Badger, I've gotten a lot of Eley here:

Thanks Tim and everyone else for the input. I'm pretty new at the .22lr game with anything other than bulk ammo.
HB, drop me a PM. We'll hit the range sometime with my Win 52s and Kimber 82s and you can get the feel of plugging A-17s with them.
All I want, is to buy 2,000,000 rounds of bulk pack 22 at .02/round, so i can resell it, for between .03 and .04/round. Is that so wrong?
ETA: I got $100k cash to buy 5,000,000 rounds of it at that price, if necessary.

This is good advise, I've seen it personally in my rifle, you won't get the best out of any 1 ammo if you don't clean the lube from the last kind out first. Especially when switching between ammo with completely different lubes like Eley Match and Edge
Also another source for Match ammo

I've seen Eley match from a certain lot outshoot Eley tenex . Not sure spending more is always worth it. There is a rumor about Eley. All the ammo is made the same, they sort it after for consistancy into groups like Club, Match, and Tenex.
In my somewhat limited experience, CCI std. velocity is about as good as most match stuff. I'd heard that from a quite accomplished bullseye shooter. I experimented on my own and found that to be the case. Of course, it IS gun specific, like all ammo. I didn't Ransom Rest it, and that would be the acid test. That and different guns. There is a vastly different smell to some of the ammo, that's for sure. Wolf Match smells totally different than anything else. It shot almost as good as the CCI from my Hammerli. I don't shoot match .22 in rifle. It would be fun, though. If I had a match grade rifle, I'd certainly try it!
Hmmm, maybe I need a new rifle.......yeah!
