Excellent! I am seriously thinking about getting one since I saw a guy 2 days in row @Auraria & Kalamath, trying to jump on some car and fake a collision....The funny part: he missed twice!

He's practicing. Not everyone gets it on the first few tries.
Stop for a traffic infraction is not probable cause for a vehicle search. More to the story?
I also have been considering a dash cam but now I'm looking into body cams that could serve the dual purpose when in the vehicle
Good point. I was recently looking at some vids on youtube and this guy had the cam mounted somewhere above his head (dome light?) and it not only showed the road but also his hands and head when he turned to look through an intersection. It looked like a good spot to put a cam. The view on the road was not as good as a dash cam, but was still good. Or good enough to see the other guy crash into him!
As the story was told, there was no probable cause for a vehicle search.
I bet one could make a killing printing up a bunch of "NO ON 64" stickers for Coloradoans that have to drive in Nebraska.
Here's one I've thrown together

+1 Then step back a respectable distance and carefully utilize the ubiquitous phone camera to video said search. Do not answer any questions while the officer is conducting the search and make certain you get a good photograph of the officer and his/her vehicle. Don't argue, don't consent. Just document and write a good narrative statement as soon as possible afterwards. Contact officer's department and file a complaint. Then contact an attorney if you do not feel the issue is dealt with to your satisfaction.
Everyone has supervisors...everyone. Hold ALL public officials accountable. Treat everyone with the respect they deserve.
Be safe.
I've been thinking about Kim Komando's dash-cam:

It's currently on sale for $150 ...
Do the cams record audio or just video? Once the memory card is full does the camera just over ride the data on the card?
