This was Castle Rock this morning around 7am. Sun came out this afternoon though and the streets are basically dry now.

About 20 inches in Evergreen this morning..
2+ feet here. No biggie.
Nothing where I was working today. Just south of Cheyenne. About seven miles north of where I was they got about a foot and a half.
Snowed, hailed and rained, ground (slow draining clay) saturated and swampy. Don't need any more moisture here.
21 inches in the last 48 hours here in Bailey, DCVR
Nothing out here, wet and soggy from lots of rain.
We got four inches Thursday morning but it all melted off in two hours. Friday it rained and snowed all day but the white stuff only stuck on the surrounding mountains. Fog and rain today. Much welcome moisture as conditions have been very dry all winter.
We need more snow in the mountains to reduce pressures on our farm irrigation, and on domestic water rates. Water prices have skyrocketed in the Grand Valley.

I think Friday was the perfect day. Thursday evening it started with snow that was sticking. By friday at 6am it turned to rain melting the snow. By 9:30 a good Hailstorm dropped about 2" of pea-sized hail along with all the thunder and lightning ya could want. It then cleared out and by 2pm the sun was out and the windows were open.[Flower]
